She went on to graduate first in her class at Howard Law School, only to be rejected for graduate study again at Harvard University this time on account of her sex. Very powerful book and very powerful people.
This book is incredibly informative. It has great details on the upbringing of the great historical figures within the book and really illuminates the importance of their lives. This is a great read for anyone who enjoys history and wants to learn more about great Black Influencers.
