wonderful

The story of Maddox and Jessica is a nice love story. After a short time after Maddox hired Jessica to be his housekeeper they have became good friends. Then out of the blue Maddox invites Jessica to have dinner with hin . Afterwards he propositioned her to marry him and give him children , since they were both single and didnt want the troubles of going out and finding someone. A marriage without love. She agreed, almost a year later Jessica found out the real reason behind the arrangement. Just wish there was more to the story. Loved it.

Made Me Cry

It is a beautiful story to see how strong Jessica is during her husband illness very heartfelt story

I liked the storyline and would recommend this book. However the narrator was awful she never changed her voice. The same voice for all the characters.

Rough written story but, SWEET ending!!!

BWWM.. Strange & rough beginning of the story but, over all was kind of sweet towards the end. Very short but, for those of us DESPERATE for bwwm stories it was..... ok... to listen to.. Gave 5 stars for effort...And the ending..

It really was true love

I liked this book. As the reader, my mind thought that Maddox was ill but just a workaholic or maybe hiding something. He also didn't have Jessica sign a prenup which I thought was strange. But it all made sense near the end with his brain tumor.
I would recommend this book to young adults.

Jessica and Maddox

This was a cute little story. Maddox asked Jessica, who is his housekeeper, to marry him. Maddox was very sick but initially Jessica did not know that. This book ends with a wonderful HEA. Youlanda Burnett’s performance was not the best. She did not distinguish between male and female. All of the voices sounded female.

narrator needs to learn the difference

This story had some intensity to it. I did enjoy watching their relationship grow but not completely with the lack of trust. This was a serious topic issue but still had a semi happy outcome. The key was communication being needed.

This narrator did not understand the difference between male and female because they all sounded pretty much the same. When the man is talking I couldn't tell that it was a man talking.

i struggled hard to finish this book. I'm not sure if it was the story or the narrator. i didn't enjoy either

Poor quality

Waste of money. Poor narration, stiff, no inflection in the reading on the script, poor story line.
