About this listen

My one-night stand turns out to be my billion-dollar enemy.

Yeah, I’m screwed - and unfortunately, not that way.

I meet a handsome man at the bar, the kind you only dream about. You know the one? He drinks his whiskey neat and power oozes from his suit-clad form. The night we spend together is perfect - I’ll treasure the memory for as long as I live.

Until I discover who he is.

Who’s the billionaire asshole trying to tear down my bookstore? My one-night stand. Correction: my rich, handsome, calculating one-night stand.

I hate his determination and his ruthlessness. I hate the way he smirks and the thick fall of his hair. But most of all, I hate that I can’t look at him without remembering our night together - a night he’s keen to repeat.

During the day, we’re at war.

At night, we’re lovers.

Sorry. I think they call it, ahem, fudge buddies.

The two things are strictly separated.

No funny business. No emotions.

And definitely no falling for him.

Male narrator sucks

The male voice sounds like a woman tring to sound like a man is talking

Another Home Run by Olivia

Nicely done, Olivia. I love these two; their banter, playfulness, and finally their love. Can’t wait for your next release.

You’ve Got Mail Rated R

Strong reminders of You’ve Got Mail with a more heat and a little (very little) suspense.

Good Narration.

Enjoyed.

Cole and Skye’ s Story

Olivia Hayle had done it again. Love Cole and Skye’s story. They started as one night stand, then met again and became enemies that turn lovers. All this passion, undeniable attraction and real feelings deep down. And Skye’s nephew is an amazing character. It made the story even better.

Another Great One

I always love Olivia‘s books, and this book was no exception. Coke and Skye meet at a bar and have a one night stand. She works at a beloved book store, and he is the man who owns the company that’s going to tear it down. Of course, when they finally find out the truth about one another, the knives start to flail. Through their fighting, you realize that they do have great chemistry. They were not my favorite characters out of Olivia‘s books, but I liked them well enough to enjoy the story. It had a similar feeling to the movie, “You’ve Got Mail.”

The only negative that I would say about this is that I wish there was a male performer for Cole’s voice. Meg Price did an excellent job, even doing the male voices, but it just made Cole seem a little less sexy. That is something really minor, but I hope if she puts any more of her other books an audio form, I hope she will use a different actor for the man.
