Bill Bo und seine Kumpanen reisen durch das Land und klauen, was nicht niet- und nagelfest ist. Die bunt zusammengemischte Räuberbande hat das Umherziehen mittlerweile aber gründlich satt und will sesshaft werden - und sie wissen auch schon wo. Die auf einer Insel im Rhein gelegene Burg Dingelstein wäre das perfekte Quartier. Vorher müsste man nur die aktuellen Bewohner vertreiben: Graf von Dingelstein, seine Tochter Desdemona genannt Ding-Ding und ihr Gefolge, allesamt scheinbar leichte Gegner für eine erfahrene Räuberbande.
Prinzessin Ding Ding beschließt aber, Burg Dingelstein trotz der drohenden Übermacht zu verteidigen. Dabei muss sie all ihren Mut und Einfallsreichtum zusammennehmen, denn Bill Bo und seiner Bande mag es vielleicht an Gewitztheit fehlen - aber das machen sie mit Stärke und Sturheit mehr als wett.

Auf sie, mit Gebrüll!
Soviel vorweg: Wir mussten uns zusammenreißen, um die komplette erste Staffel nicht gleich in einem Rutsch durchzuhören. Aber schließlich braucht unser Zwerchfell auch mal eine kleine Pause. Fans der Augsburger Puppenkiste werden jedenfalls Tränen lachen: Der tollpatschige Choleriker Bill Bo ist zurück - und sucht mit seiner bunt zusammengewürfelten Bande das perfekte Langzeitquartier. Burg Dingelstein scheint perfekt: reiche Beute, ideale Insellage und leichte Gegner für die erfahrenen Bösewichte. Leider ist Bill Bo weniger Meisterräuber, sondern eher Meister der Selbstsabotage - und die Tochter des Burgbesitzers, die listige Prinzessin Ding Ding, mindestens so mutig und hartnäckig wie die sture Bande. Bill Bo und seine sechs Kumpane lässt wunderschön verrückt die Puppen tanzen - und beweist ein heimliches Herz für diese Liga liebenswerter Gesetzesbrecher.
