This one hooked me from page one. I’m not sure what others were saying about the narrators. I thought they were good. They did a great job. The story was good. It was adorable.

The story dragged a little with the main characters’ internal struggles or thoughts. Great love story!

Such a negative Nancy!!

Oh goshhh- really liked the first book but it felt like I had to struggle thru this one. 😭😭😭😭 the main female character is SUCHHHHH A NEGATIVE NANCY!!! Like I get her whole life was a struggle- but everything was a victim mentality and a “I don’t deserve this- I can’t have that, he can’t possibly like me for me” poor me, sad me, GOOD HEAVENS!!! Have some hope! Or at least take one damn day a week not being so damn negative!!

And the performance was slightly annoying. She got on my nerves and that made enjoying the story much more difficult- but I ain’t no quitter so I suffered thru.

Good but Instant Love

The book is good if you love the insecure heroine, instant love, and Cinderella story. I just felt like the characters lacked depth and I didn’t think she or her family sounded very smart or that the story was believable. The narrators were good- and she’s a good author. It just needed a little more.

I enjoyed their story but kinda wish more crossed over with first couple ( I really enjoy when it does that )
