A Delightful Surprise Set in My Homeland

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will definitely be keeping an eye out for more from Susannah Glenn in the future. As an Aussie now living overseas, I was pleasantly surprised to discover the story is set in my homeland—but I would have loved it just as much regardless of the setting. With well-developed characters, an engaging storyline, and likable personalities throughout, this book was an absolute delight. Highly recommend!

I love the Australian accents and locatioms

Super good book! Very compelling story line starts right away! Mystery, Domestic disturbances and great characters! I am very glad it was in the audible plus category!

Predictable but ok

Decent story…predictable with parts completely irrelevant but it was free so it’s ok for a free listen.

Narrator voice conflicted/mismatched with character

I really enjoyed this book but it was difficult to get past the narration — the narrator’s voice had the depth and tonality of a much older woman (I kept thinking Angela Landsbury) and the lead character was not old.

Slow start but good story

This story had a slow twisted start, but as you approach the climax things really picked up.

The story was good with explicit details. However, the story move slow overall it was a good story. One must have the patience to hang in there..

I had to listen to parts of the book twice to be sure I understood what was going on. I liked the story but found it confusing when it skipped around.
