I am invested

5/5⭐️ 3/5🌶️ 5/5🎧
Beneath the Ice was entertaining from start to finish. Connor was super freaking swoony. He worships the ground Ella walks on and his nickname for her, Kitten, gahhh so stinking cute. But even though he’s buttery soft for his woman, Connor has big 🍆 energy. And he knows how to work it. Teddy Hamilton and Stella Hunter are the perfect duet for an *explosive* 💦 audio performance.

Not only was it cute and spicy, but it was also heartbreaking. I felt like I was going through what the characters were in the book. It was literally breaking my heart. But through growth and determination, everyone gets their HEA.

I haven’t read the rest of the series but best believe I’m backtracking and listening to the rest ASAP! Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved this on Audio!

Honestly I love the duet narration! There is something amazing being able to listen to each character in their own voice.

These two always make me so happy. Connor is the resident happy go lucky guy that always has a smile on his face and a joke to go with the laugh he exudes. Ella struggled after he left her a note their freshman year, to reconnecting during their junior year and knowing that the one was right there all this time. Beneath the Ice shows the other side of Connor. He finds himself off the ice and struggling to what that will mean for his future. A future that he had planned with Ella. Ella is there every step of the way but finds herself battling her own fears but trying hard to continue on the same path that they had mapped out. There is so much these two have to work through and outside forces don’t make things always the easiest. We are given yet another great book in the Lakeshore series that pushes our thoughts and emotions as we struggle to keep them in check as tension gets high. These two got their second chance already, but I love that we get a book that shows that even the most amazing relationships hit snags sometimes, but when both people truly love each other, anything is possible.

Great audio listen!

I wasn't sure what would be in store for Ella and Connor and for the first part of the book everything seemed so good you think what could go wrong? Until it all goes so very very wrong. When their future that seemed so bright suddenly gets very very dark.

I got so emotionally invested in Connor and Ella and what would happen with them I just wanted to keep reading forever. They started off as this strong couple that had it all but when truly tested I just didn't know how it could turn out. It was definitely a different type of hockey romance story and I loved that about it. Great addition to the Lakeshore U series!

Emotional roller coaster

Stella Hunter and Teddy Hamilton brought Connor and Ella’s book to life. I felt all the emotions ten fold as these narrators took the authors words and delivered such a heartfelt performance. This is a must listen to audiobook. The emotional roller coaster was worth the ride.

"Ready Kitten?"

This is book 3 in the Lakeshore U series, and it was a very heartfelt story.
Connor and Ella are PERFECT for each other in every way! Their chemistry flammable and the cute nicknames for one another had me giggling like a little girl. Ella Loves Connor with everything she has and vice versa, but man was I pretty miffed at some of the stuff Connor pulled in the book. There were a few scenes where I practically held my breath waiting for things to explode. Then there were the ones I was smiling and holding back happy tears. It was an emotional ride and the brutal truth of how some hockey careers end was an eye opener.

Stella Hunter and Teddy Hamilton narrated this fantastic story. They are the perfect duo for this series, and I hope to hear them narrate book 4! Stella always brings that sassy attitude of all the female characters in this series. The choked-up moments where tears were involved you could feel it. Teddy saying Kitten as Ella’s nickname was perfection! During Connor’s struggle I could hear the anger, sadness, and shame, but the happy go lucky Connor was hilarious always wanting more.
I loved this audio and would 10/10 recommend to anyone who enjoys sports romances or even just cute romances!

YES YES YES

Oh the tears these two gave me. I absolutely love how LA Cotton does angst… but man I could feel every freaking emotion. The narrators did a fantastic job! Like seriously some of my favorites because they crush it every single time, plus the duet narration is perfection.

SO GOOD

This book was fantastic! The narrators for this book couldn’t have been more perfect! I was hooked from chapter one. I am a sucker for a good hockey romance and this one has the perfect amount of angst and romance. And Connor?! SWOON. Loved it, I never wanted this book to end.

Ella + Connor

-hockey romance
-relationship on the rocks
-found family
-tragedy depression

ugh i’ve loved these two since the beginning! i’m so happy they got a full blown novel cause being the first to go down the love train in a prequel novella was just not enough! they broke my heart here, it was just too relatable to most relationships today but they never gave up on each other! i can’t wait to see what’s next for our Lakers!

The dual narration is amazing!

I absolutely loved Ella and Connor’s story! Also, the audio for this was phenomenal! The dual narration was so good!!

Ella and Connor have been together for a year, they’re both in their senior year at Lakeshore U and Connor plays for the hockey team. Connor’s life is hockey, and he can’t wait to win a championship before graduating and going on to play in the NHL. When Connor gets injured Ella and Connor must face all the obstacles that are against their relationship- the biggest of which are his parents who make it well known how they feel about Ella. She’s determined to be all that Connor needs as he recovers, but as he’s trying to cope it’s almost easier to push her away than to feel helpless.

5⭐️ narrators 4⭐️ story

Audiobook:
Stella Hunter and Teddy Hamilton
Let me start by saying that Connor Morgan is a hot man with a sweet dirty mouth and teddy Hamilton narrating him can talk to me like that all day!
I loved this book. I did feel like the beginning before his accident dragged on but it was still great!
I love how these books continue to amaze me, you think sometimes when having a book cover with a hockey player and a hot guy it’s not going to have that much depth and I’m always wrong.
Connor was on top, he had the girl of his dreams, he was an amazing hockey player about to end his senior year on top and go pro. He had amazing friends (who make this story so beautiful for me too, their friends group is incredible to each other)

After an injury Connor started to spiral and pushing everyone away, his friends his girlfriend and that took a toll on everyone.

Connor and Ella together were so sweet and loving, extra spicy and I loved them as a couple.
She was brave to step away when he started to push her away in order to take some time to process his injury and his rude father. When an old family friend of Connor’s comes into the picture ellla feels threatened and Connor is oblivious to her intentions. This is where he finally gets his head straight and figures out he needs to fight for himself to get better and for him to win back Ella.

Great story and perfection of narrators.
