Good but frustrating

I understand that a story needs a thick plot to make it interesting, BUT Kathrine’s character took it way too far. She should’ve listened to Jackson sooner. That went on WAY too long. And Jackson should’ve just spit the truth out. Could have cut 3 hours out at least. Happy it all worked out in the end but it was a frustrating book to listen too. As a side note Ryan Hudson has a sexy ass voice!!! He should narrate more books! I could listen to him all day.

Amazing banter, sexual tension and love. Loved these two books and the author’s talent. Just wow…

Corinne Michaels is the bomb…

The continuation is Catherine and Jackson’s story will break your heart. Maybe it will put it back together… but I’m not telling!

Jackson’s past comes back to haunt him when a reporter devastates Catherine during a press conference. Her heart is broken and he broke all of the promises he made when she went back to him. He never told her about his wife….

Catherine is hurt and angry, and when her company offers her a promotion that means a move to California.. she takes it. She ignores attempts by Jackson to explain, because he shouldn’t have waited until now. Although she does finally listen, she moves to California anyway.

The book is excellent. If you’re a Corinne Michaels fan, you know. The narration, by Andi Arndt and Ryan Hudson, is very good and makes the characters come alive. I recommend this highly!!

Interesting twist on common theme!

Firstly- 1st book Beloved was the first one I’ve read/listened to with this author. It immediately enthralling and made me want to continue walking just to listen to it!
When it ended I rolled right into this nook, Beholden. It didn’t go where I expected like most common romance novels. I don’t want to give away spoilers but it has a hint of a Nicolas Sparks’ novel. Definitely a good listen! The narrator was also very good and did a decent distinction between voices so you knew who was talking.
Definitely give it a go if you like a good story mixed with some sexy mixed in!

This is a story that tugs on all my heart strings and drags up emotions best forgotten. A masterfully crafted tale with characters of depth and substance. The narration is suburb and contributes to the enjoyment of listening to the book. This whole duet is well recommended!

Wow!

I’m blown away by Beloved and Beholden. The story is warm and sensual, the narrators are incredible (Ryan Hudson, omg) and I’ll never look at daffodils or lighthouses the same way. It’s been a long time since I laughed, cried and laughed again and stayed up till 4:30 am because I had to know how it ended!!

Full of love and tenderness with some drama! I've found a new author! Loved this duet... will purchase more of these books.

The perfect ending to this 2 book duet!

Part 2 of the Belonging Duet and worth every minute of reading or as in my case, listening time. Angst ridden with lots of not the right time or right place themes packaged with lots of heavy baggage for both main characters that is wrapped with all the emotions on the spectrum including a lot of laughter! This is how a happily ever after should end. The bonus clips at the end of the audio are definitely worth the listen so don't stop too soon! Oh and definitely listen to them in order!
