Helps with understanding and questioning our lives
I love all of Max Lucado's books. He has a way of putting God's words into current affairs and making the relevant to my life. The question at the end make you stop and check your relationship with God and others. This book put the events around Christ's birth is a slightly different light allowing a better understanding of the responses of all.

Max Lucado does it again, and once again Ben Holland is just the perfect narrator for "Because of Bethlehem." Max Lucado tells a story with so much passion! I feel like I am in the story as he transports my heart and my mind where all my senses are activated!

Refreshing and inspiring
I like the way the author relates his everyday life during the Christmas season to us in this book. The scripture references are spot on and even though I’ve heard them a thousand times, they felt fresh and new. Well done.
