I love how they both provided comfort and healing for each other. I love to see a boss babe being loved on😍

Best story I’ve heard in a while.

Some of these romances can feel like a dime a dozen. By adding real life traumas, William develops characters into vibrant realities. I FELT this; their highs and lows and all the in between. Narrators were GOLD. Five stars! Can’t wait to dig into more of Williams work

Relatable

The book I didn’t know I needed. I stumbled across this book on accident but as I finished I came to the realization that it was meant for me to read. Beautiful story! Everything about it was amazing. This book was so relatable in so many reads! Best book I’ve read this year! Zeke & Davina were meant to be!!

A time to heal!

I’ve personally never lost a spouse, however, I have experienced grief. I’ve unfortunately lost my mother and brother and know how paralyzing it can be. I love how Davina and Deke use their personal grief and experience with grief as a tool to heal each other. I wish I could go into more detail, but I don’t want to give any spoilers. It was so good that although I have it on both Audible and Kindle I had to have it in paperback to display on my bookshelf. Just know that this is a five star read for me and I can’t wait to see what happens with Javier and Davina sister lol IYKYK. -Sasha Mason @iamsashafierce411

BEAUTIFUL STORY! 😭🥰

This book had me crying, laughing, grinning, and completely in my feelings—it was such a beautiful story, and the title couldn’t have been more perfect. It’s probably one of the best stories I’ve ever read, and I genuinely loved the ending. We all deserve a love that heals us, and this book captured that sentiment so perfectly.

I love the fact that This story is about two people who has successful careers but also has been going through grief. I also love the fact Davina and Deke support each other by loving each other while both of them are going through different type of grieving. I dislike the fact that how grieving can affect on someone who's trying to move on with their lives and how can they move forward from that. This book right here is incredible it shows some serious conversations to have with your love ones and also to encourage someone that it's okay to cry when you are going through things in life. I love this book so much I will give it Six Stars!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautifully done

This book is so well written. It captures the complexities of moving forward and attempting to create a new life in the midst of grief and loss. The characters are beautiful and so well developed. Deek was so perfect for Davina, in every way. His patience. His support. His love. Absolutely swoonworthy. Although she required more time, Davina was also able to support Deek with his own grief and forgiveness journey. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from beginning to end. ♥️📚

My only gripe is the narration. The female narrator was exceptional and captured Davina well. My disappointment is with the male narrator. His cadence was off, where he took breaths or paused in weird places within the text. In my opinion, the female did a better job of reading Deek's parts. This is my only disappointment. However, the narration did NOT take away from the greatness of the book. I would still highly recommend it.

As someone who is navigating life after losing a fiancé, this book spoke to the depths of my soul. The push and pull of moving forward and opening up. The fear and anticipation of new love. Wow just wow! I love love loved this book! I’m ordering a hard copy just to have on my shelf. One of my new favorite books!
