To many character sheets reads

Half the book is just reading character sheets of enemies we only see once and I don’t even remember half of the MCs character sheet

decent

a decent listen for the most part but like others have stated it was stat heavy which at times didn't help the story flow.

I love the fact that she reincarnated into a dragon you don’t see that a lot :)

And that she finds another friend this book reminds me of another show because of the parallel minds

Like "So I'm a spider, so what", but better

There have been quite a few books, which came from webnovels lately, where they take another webnovel and spin it in a very different way. They, like this book, take it in a completely different direction right away, but the premise is the same. That is basically what this one does, and it does a great job of the reincarnated as a monster story, where the MC is not really quite human anymore in their sensibilities, but still trying to stay true to their original selves so as not to lose their identity.

I definitely like the twist with this story of the MC wanting to resume her "Idol" career in some fashion even though it doesn't make much sense in a sword and sorcery setting and is not a little bit insane. However, the best isekai protagonists are always quite a bit insane when trying to cope with their loss of identity.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The narration was fantastic (though there were a few typoes/small mispronunciations, which are probably in the text). I will definitely be getting the next book in the series when it comes out.

Stats HEAVY

Some times I would have to skip 3 minutes just to get past all the skill ups and stat pages. While the story was enjoyable, I found the most annoying thing was to listen to stats for a few minutes getting some story then another block of stats.
Must be the parallel brains?

This book feels anime inspired, and cute. Probably not the best book for someone just getting into this genre. If you’re a veteran listener and can deal with stat blocks, This one is all yours!

Pretty good

Spends too much time going over stats. Great story and plot. The voice actor sounds the same for every character so it’s a little hard to keep up sometimes. The actual story is good and seams to be a good setup for a great series. It’s always hardest with the first book.

meh

the MC is an actual psychopath. characters that do evil things and acknowledge it are fine. She's just all over the place, tho. dumb too. it picks up around chapter 30!

Entertaining

Lots of combat and growth. I skipped this for a month while figure with idol it would be some silly slice of life, no killing and romance.

Instead it had lots of dragon fire, death , later friends, mystery and fun.

Yes there where a lot of stat updates and pages, so I suggest listening to this when having the skip button handy for those 3 mins every so often. Worth it though.

Monster reincarnation like a spider and slime

It kind of reminds of dragon core chronicles and the story of a certain Spider even with the part of about the other earthers getting kidnapped by the church in some points. So if that is your thing go for it. Also while our newly hatched dragon dose rush up the power scale the environment does keep pace and the power is earned for her and the rest of the party. kind of sick of the protagonist just being super op by the halfway point. None of them are OP at the end. will get book 2.

plot and story was good. Why do we have to listen to an extended list of every character's stats?
