Do you want to learn how to become a master of the art of mind control? We humans are the most intelligent species of animals on the planet; yet, we have forgotten the most effective tool of communication - our bodies. Body language or non-verbal communication creates an effective system that clarifies communication and enriches the interactions that we enjoy with other people. In a world of deceit and lies, it has become incumbent on all of us to catch up and learn a few tricks of the trade. None of us can survive solely on the basis of honesty and hard work.

Manipulation is characterized as "the act of manipulating somebody into an ideal behavior to accomplish a shrouded individual goal". Regularly, we don’t have any acquaintance with its transpiring as manipulative individuals can be unpretentious. Likewise, the nearness of feelings, for example, love, reliability and trust can mean we don’t see the truth of other individuals’ concealed plans. It’s anything but difficult to be attracted.

Story
Superheroes don't start from glorious beginnings. Their origins are almost always marked by traumatic events that leave them helpless and scared. Batman witnessed his parents' murder. Superman was sent away from his dying planet with no one to guide him as he grew up. Orphaned Catwoman was forced to steal food to survive on the streets of Gotham. What makes these superheroes super is their determination to not be defined by helplessness. They embrace their origins, their flaws, and their mistakes and strive every day to become the best versions of themselves.

Let's face it: We all know people who are irrational. No matter how hard you try to reason with them, it never works. So what's the solution? How do you talk to someone who's out of control? What can you do with a boss who bullies, a spouse who yells, or a friend who frequently bursts into tears? In his book Just Listen, Mark Goulston shared his best-selling formula for getting through to the resistant people in your life. Now he brings his communication magic to the most difficult group of all - the downright irrational.

Good Information Overload
I really got a lot of good practical stuff out of the first part of the book. That part of the book seemed relevant to daily business practice... then most of the rest of the book had good information, but it was about human behavior and behavioral science... this was good info

Very informative resource for those working to recover from co-dependency. If you've been a "non-person" throughout your life, especially in light of your parents/family, this is a quality listen.
