About this listen

A Reincarnation Isekai Light Novel.

Getting assassinated sucks. Just ask Thomas, a man from Earth who made a few too many enemies. Or you could ask Lucian, the crown prince of another world who met a similar fate.

But if you were to ask either of them, then you'd actually be asking the same man, as Thomas' soul was crammed into Lucian's body during their simultaneous assassinations.

The Goddess who reincarnated him didn't do it for free, though. She tasked Lucian with the simple quest of saving the Almekian Kingdom from the brink of collapse.

At least, it would be simple for someone like Lucian, if it weren't for the God's Acolyte who's wreaking havoc in his new world. Not to mention the numerous other powerful players who don't really hold the crown prince in high regard.

With a blade lurking behind every corner, can Lucian even survive long enough to see the crown placed on his head?

Action, magic, and intrigue. And a cute foxgirl companion, of course.

FLOOF

Isekai, reincarnation, magic, and all the usual stuff here. But most importantly, it has floof! Give me more floofy ears and soft tails!

if you like false hero you probably will like this

the goddess has the mc reborn as the 17 year old prince of the kingdom. tons of issues, he has no knowledge of the kingdom, no knowledge of the world, there is a war going on, and a famine oh and there oh and he expected to fix this and take on this evil that wants to destroy the world.

also this may be a sequel/same universe as the false hero. if the second imortal is who i it is.

👍👍👍👍👍I hope there are more books to come in this series! The MC is great along with a really good supporting cast! The story is captivating! The narrators also do a good job of bringing the story to life! Great job Michael Plymel!

good story, narrator didn't proofread

2h58m the narrator starts snapping when he gets tongue tied, and times he repeats a section without slicing the audio. He does have a lot of energy throughout the story, an awkward amount at times. at a few points it makes the main character seem evil like he is excited for the death and horrible things around him.
Good story though!

Good story

The story I thought was great narrators were also very good . The male narrator has a higher voice than I was used to as an mc but he was excellent . A great production all around

it dragged on

the jump from Slice of life to battles was seamless. However, the chapters in those scenes took so long with little intrigue. It was not exciting, the battle was so boring and it felt like it would never end. I am on the fence if there is a vol. 2.

Pretty good story, not so good performance.

Decent story, characters were a bit thin. The male voice was constantly rushing the story by speaking in, what I feel is, an extremely fast pace. Multiple times throughout the recording the male reader's audio would repeat because his retakes were left in unedited. As well as the male reader not reading ahead and parcing sentences extremely badly, i.e. stopping a sentence before the sentence actually ends and then realizing they needed to continue the sentence. The female reader was great with little to no issues, I love audiobooks where there are two separate people.

Mid

Not a good book but not a bad one either.

Sometimes the MC was the smartest person in the room, and sometimes he’s making thoughtless decision. Sometimes the narration was excellent and sometimes the narrator is using their indoor voice when the character is outside in mid combat. Sometimes the plot thickens and sometimes it’s as stale as bread left out overnight.

Overall, the plot was intriguing and the MC was decent, but it lacked depth.
