I discovered Maria through the boom of a viral DM exchange she posted on IG back in 2023. I am so thankful to the algorithm and to her for that incredible moment in history and pop culture. This book is the magnum opus of the amazing info she so generously shares on her social media, educating the masses on how new the art of dating is and how hard it is to do love and relationships these days due to so many factors. But she gives the most practical guidance on how to do it. Just like I’d want a heart surgeon who’s operated thousands of times, Maria is an expert on relationships and how to navigate them based on her decades of experience. Thus, I take it very seriously and trust it with my life. Whether you’re searching for love or already in love, this book is the most down-to-earth and applicable that I’ve ever read. At the time of writing this, I’m in the happiest relationship I’ve ever been in and I know it is because of what she’s taught me. This book is a life hack. Buy the paperback AND the audiobook version, there are goodies for both experiences. Do the work she outlines in this book and your life will get better.

What a great read! Whether you’re single or not, everyone should read this, and Maria’s perspective makes sense in this nonsensical world of dating, apps, meeting people IRL or virtually, there’ definitely some skill I can refine even after 20 years of dating

I loved this book. Start to finish. I wish every person actively dating would read it! The swiping culture part should be mandatory reading! Loved it so much I bought on audible and a physical copy.

Great Start, Easy and Enjoyable Listen!

This book is great, excellent baseline dating advice! Nothing groundbreaking or new if you've been in therapy - but if you haven't, this is a great place to start (+ go to therapy). I love Matchmaker Maria and her content and wanted to support regardless! Loved the audio book and glad she narrated it herself, it was an easy and enjoyable listen.

We just need a book 2! You now know how to date with intention and know your worth and your values, now how do you go from the 12DR to building a lasting partnership of respect and support! The book kind of skips from 12DR and defining the relationship to Happily Ever After.
