"De holdt for rødt lys.
Hølæsset på vognen var så højt, at lyskurven hang lige foran næserne på Asbjørn og Gunhild.
– Rødt lys, sukkede Gunhild. Det er næsten ligesom at have en lampe i soveværelset.
– Det varer længe! sagde Asbjørn utålmodigt.
– Måske er den grønne pære sprunget? foreslog Gunhild.
Asbjørn rejste sig op og rodede i lommerne. Til sidst fandt han en skruetrækker. Hurtigt skruede han glasset af.
Bagefter drejede han pæren ud og kiggede på den.
– Der ser nu ikke ud til at være noget i vejen.
Han rystede pæren og lyttede. Så trak han på skuldrene og satte pæren i igen. Mens han skruede glasset på, blev lyset pludselig grønt.
– Så, nu er den der! Måske skulle den bare rystes lidt?
De kørte videre. Op ad bakke. Ud til byen."
Asbjørn og hans veninde Gunhild har fået lov at komme med Asbjørns far til København. Det er spændende at være i storbyen, specielt fordi de kører derind på en traktor – og Asbjørn og Gunhild sidder på ladet helt oppe på høstakken!
