About this listen

The system came. The apocalypse ended. Now new worlds have merged with Earth.

For Bain Lee, it means leveling his Ocularist class beyond its previous limits. With this strange class and the ability to see into the inner workings of the system, he may find the magic skills needed to earn his redemption. I’ve read 2 other lit RPG series that I liked. This is a good 4 book series.

I like fantasy and Lit RPG is new. But I like this series.

This was a very good story. I will definitely purchase the other books. All of the characters are interesting.

really enjoyed the book

Narration was good. Story followed a predictable story line. Needs a little more background for the cosmic dominance.

Decent Book

This is a decent litepg. It isn’t spectacular but it is good enough to listen too. The voice acting on the other hand made it a bit of a struggle to finish. I would imagine that it reads better then it listens so I would take that option if it is available to you.

Not great, but not bad

I really like the story when it gets going I do think the start is a bit frustrating getting tossed in with little to nothing is fine but I feel like you don't really understand what is happening and it doesn't flow well from the first part to the meat of the story but as soon as your in I have no big issues with it.

for the most part the narrator isn't bad a few times he slips out of the characters voice and that can kinda be a bit confusing but the voices themselves are good and can't wait to hear more

Pretty good but

I’m happy there was more a focus on loot than level up abilities made the progression feel like it flowed more naturally.

All the loot

I tend to like litrpgs but this one was just so poorly written and preformed. I made it 2 hours in before realizing it hadn't caught my attention at all and had to restart. The characters and abilities are utter nonsense. SPOILER the Mc can see 360 for miles and can see the tiniest details of a circuit board at that distance. The ammount of data that he would see at all times would leave him a vegetable. Utterly nonsensical powers and characters.

Not for me

First the narrator does a good job with the voices but it feels like he is over enunciating a lot of words when he speaks as the main character personally I find that very annoying.
The story is just all over the place. My main problem though is the pessimistic view of our world about how everyone would became a crazy killer or die if they get made a challenger.

It’s a litrpg
