Yet with all this Mrs. Rachel found abundant time to sit for hours at her kitchen window, knitting quilts.

Hard to listen to
I don’t know if it’s the editing or the narration, more than likely a combination of both. Lots of mistakes!!

Awkward narration, wrong accent
The narration is very awkward and unnatural, with many mistakes. Also, it doesn’t seem appropriate to have a story that takes place in Canada to be read with a British accent. The slang and dialect are not performed properly. There’s practically no space between the end of one chapter and the number of the next chapter. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out this was read by AI.
