My favorite

This one is my most favorite out of all the series. They’re awesome. It made me laugh and cry. All the emotions. Great book!

LJ Shen does not disappoint!

I have read all of LJ Shen’s books. Such amazing characters and the best storytelling. This is a twisted story of love and hate. I loved Vaughan and Lenora.

She did it again! These characters are everything! So many layers, so many feelings, so much history.

Wonderful book!

I can not say enough about how much I enjoyed this book. I was really looking forward to Vaughn’s story and it did not disappoint. And the narrators were so perfect. And to ha e Christian Rummel back was a wonderful bonus. Listen to this book and all of LJ Shen’s books you will not be disappointed.

Loved Vaughn’s Story

I have been waiting for Vaughn’s story since I read “Broken Knight”. There was something about him that made me wonder why he was so angry and this book lets the reader have insight as to why he hates the world. Even though he acts like he doesn’t care about anyone, he is very loyal to his friends. I admired that about him in the two previous books.

The love story between him and Lenore was so painstakingly beautiful. The tragedy that they both had to endure set the stage for an understanding and complicated love story. You could not help to hope for this couple.

I do think the overuse of profanity was unnecessary, but I understand why it was used during some of the circumstances.

The performances from all the narrators were superb! They made a story that was already great remarkable. I will definitely listen to this again.

Slow Burn

Vaughn Spencer is swoon worthy with his mad at the world facade. We get to dive into his character and really find out what makes his tick and why he does and act the way he does. I loved the narration!

Great book!

This author does bully romance like no other! She also allows us to watch as the bully falls to their knees for the woman that is a game changer. I love watching it happen and this book was the perfect balm for my soul. It had exactly what I was looking for in an escape! Highly recommended!

Great!

The book starts off a little slow, but it fits for some reason. The story is so good! Both the main characters have such a wonderful story and they're combined so perfectly. I loved everything about it. the back stories, the drama, the trauma, and the HEA. It was all perfect. I liked Penn in the first one, but I LOVED Knight (book two) and now Vaughn is pretty much tied with Knight. I would love more out of these stories especially after the endings.

Vaughn Spencer!

Shen has the power to write a book and have you hating it due to the characters in the book but you are never sure how it happens but you the characters grow on you and you cannot put the book down because you become so invested. I hate the bullying in the book, I found it excessive and I pray that is not how high schoolers act. This book had me on a roller coaster of emotions. Vaughn was so complicated and nothing that I was expecting. Lenora I just loved how she was wounded heart. Overall the story was good. It draws you in takes you on an emotional rollercoaster and leaves you with a smile.

Angry God is LJ Shens masterpiece. Much like his father(Vicious) Vaughn is deeply misunderstood and immune to everyone. Until he meets that one girl who just can’t help but challenge him in everyone way. Definitely check your trigger warnings it’s darker than most LJ books. But the store is one I feel like needs to be told for those that have been there.
