About this listen

Can wearing sexy stilettos win the heart of a demon, or will it cause Heaven to protest?

Anne Jenkins never bought into the concept of a heaven or hell, but when she’s rescued from a runaway horse hurtling toward a steep ravine by a guy who claims he’s a demon, her freak detector goes off. When she demands proof, the leather-clad biker sets some local wildlife on fire. She starts to believe in a hurry.

IRS agent Gregg Carter, bound to the Devil for all eternity for an audit gone wrong, seizes the opportunity to take possession of Anne’s soul as a way to please his boss. What he didn’t count on was the fact his libido would take the one-way bus to crazy town as he gets to know her better. When dreams of a future come calling, he’s screwed.

Trouble is, Anne and Gregg spend so much time trying to hide their true selves from each other, that they can’t escape their mutual attraction. But everyone knows demons and humans don’t mix, and neither can two people destined for two different eternities. In the matter of heaven or hell, maybe the answer is somewhere in between.

Can Humans and Demons Mix?

This was such a fun book. It was totally laugh out loud. I really liked both characters. Anneliese Rennie and Alan Adelberg did a great job with the narration, although Alan’s narration was much more enjoyable. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Angels, Demons, and Designer Shoes

This is acute and sweet story about finding love in the last place you would imagine. In order for Gregg to save Anne she must give her soul to the devil. Circumstances have Gregg bound to Anne for the time being and the two soon discover that their mutual attraction is hard to ignore. As the two spend time together they find that there is more than meets the eye to both of them but how can they knowingly start something that they know will only lead to heartache?

Greg and Ann make a cute couple. Each of them have so much to give but so little time. I enjoyed seeing the true self of both characters. It was nice to see the way their relationship grows and changes. Of course, you cannot forget Granny and what a character she is. This story is fast paced and makes you feel good. Their adventure is short and sweet and has some character development. Narrators Anneliese Rennie and Alan Adelberg do a nice job of bringing the characters and their world to life.

I loved it!💜

Hah! This book was so much fun I absolutely loved it. If all Demons were as sexy as Carter, I’d totally want one.
Creative and sexy.
The narration was really good.
The male narrator is new to me but not for long. His voice is very sexy.
I highly recommend this book!

Enchanting Love story!

I asked to receive this free review audible book and wrote this unbiased review. This is such a delightful and enchanting paranormal novella. Both characters learn the true meaning of love even if it means only one may survive. Then add in a motorcycle riding grandma to guide them along and you have a fun story to read. The narrators did an excellent job of portraying the emotions of these characters. Alan created a sexy and tantalizing voice for Greg. Anneliese gave Anne unsure yet spirited voice. I recommend this Audible book. It is a refreshing and quirky fun read.

Light Paranormal Romance

Greg saves Ann from a run away horse then uses the opportunity to procure her soul to please Satan. Ann and Greg have an instant attraction which neither of them counted on. Ann’s Grandmother was a demon slayer before she fell in love and married a Demon so she encourages Ann to kill Greg. What ensues is a light hearted paranormal romance over the next 30 days before Ann loses her Soul.

I genuinely the story and thought Alan Adelberg did a great job with his portion of the dual narration. Unfortunately while Anneliese is a very good narrator she sounded better suited to the role of granny then. Beautiful young blonde on the cover of a romance novel.

DUET narration, and Alan Adelberg is YUMMY!

I listened to this audiobook *specifically* because I LOVE Alan Adelberg narrating romance! His voice has a beautifully rich tone and he puts on a great performance. (All those chuckles made me smile A LOT!)

The story was cute and light, so I thought it was just OK. I don't think I would have stopped listening with a different male narrator, so it was engaging but a little too simple of a story for me. But BIG points for duet narration, which is so hard to find. I need more Alan Adelberg in my library!!

I received a free audio review copy in exchange for an honest review.
