Beautiful Story

I'm sad to say there are some mess ups in this audio, it only happens with the female voice actress's audio.
The story was great, it's a fast burn adult romance with lots of sexy time and a nice Chosen one trope. I enjoyed it none the less and believe most who listen/read it will.

Fantastic performance!!

I always enjoy anything that Vanessa Moyen narrates, but I have to say that Lucas stole the show on this one! Fantastic voices and performance! I’ve read this series before but am so happy I decided to give the audiobooks a try too. Exceeded expectations!!

Addicting enjoyful listen, great dual narration

I really enjoyed this audiobook and its narration. I love that it was dual narration so there was a a female during female parts in a male during male parts all parts. and that male narrator has a amazing accent swoon worthy. Not to mention the story. Love the female main character and the guys I felt like they were definable which is big in the genre. This book was a little different to ones of the genre I read before in a good way it sounded really interesting and wow it did not disappoint what a story. i found this to be really unique and surprising not surprising that it was a good unique story but just surprising in general with giving too much away just really unique and really opened up my mind to trying other RH books that aren't my normal go to. I mean this book did not disappoint it all I started listening on my way to work and then quickly and while driving at first and then ended up staying in my car too long not wanting to get out. Even pulling into my house after work and knowing I had stuff to do and while I could listen while I did it I was so into the book I don't want to be distracted at all so I just sat in my car for a half an hour and then when I got in waited till to listen again until I was done what I needed to do in the house because I would have my full attention on the book because I just got so sucked in I really love the characters in this world and I am so excited to read the second book. Seriously such a cool world a really great characters audiobook was such a sweet treat ;) especially with this fantastic narration so do yourself a favor and start listening.

good story

the first time I listened to this like a year ago the recording was terrible. I think they fixed it so if you've listened to it and been disappointed, it's better now.

Great First in Series

Perfect for lovers of hearts not parts and why choose. It’s fun, funny, deep and heart wrenching in turns. Excellent performances, especially the variety of tones and accents Lucas can make seem natural in voicing all the different men.

Fantastic duet narration + fun fantasy start!

Great start to a fantasy series. There is some heavy world building going on, but I felt it was pretty easy to follow. The FMC is feisty and fun and takes no crap from anyone! There’s a pretty big potential harem, but the guys all seem really distinct so far! We’ve also got some interesting baddies!

The narration really stole the show! I honestly found this series because I really like Lucas Webley’s narration and especially his accents! This is duet narration with Vanessa Moyen and I love her too. She is perfect for Carlisle. Lucas pulls off different accents for all of the harem and it is flawless! Such fun audio!

narrarator was ok

The story was great but the narrarator drove me mad with her mispronounced words. I really am excited to see what happens next though.

Fantastic!!

The plot of this book was interesting and not cookie cutter. The romance was top notch, yes sexy, yes inthralling, but the characters dynamics and relationships were just as meaningful and important.

As a fan of magic, I can not wait to read the next book. If you are looking for well crafted sexy charioteers with sex of all varieties thrown in absolutely read this book

Great story with good narration

I really enjoyed listening to the narrators - they both did a great job- and loved how it was dual narration.

WOW.. I am hooked. I absolutely loved this book. can't say much because I might ad too many spoilers.. so just a WOW. LOVED IT and a thank you to Laurel Chase and of course Vanessa Moyen (one of the best!! narrators) and Lucas Webley.. What a voice.. I do love ascents Yummm.
