Going in, I didn’t know what to expect, but after listening a bit, I was pleasantly surprised! The author doesn’t just narrate passages from the bible, but rather tells the stories-and explains the lessons therein- that we all might remember from church and how to apply those lessons to our lives today. From Moses on Mt Siani and The The Golden Calf, and Moses leading his people out of Egypt to Job’s troubles and the apostles’ revelations on Pentecost, the author makes the stories real and applicable to our lives today. Great for everyday devotions.
