Absolutely remarkable

I read this book In my childhood and it's the first book I got with audible. Wonderful narration and keep me on the edge of my seat the entire time!

Loved it

I remember picking up thia series as a child. And still, over 10 years later, it remains one of my, if not, favorite stories

Good book

I read this book as a kid. I was happy to see it has an audio book because I never finished the series and now I can start it up again. This book still comes to memory and I strongly recommend it.

Great story for kids!

I teach 6th grade and used this in my language arts class. My kids loved the story and immediately wanted to read the rest of the series. It is a great book to discuss current events (China's one child policy) and inspires students to read other stories.

Great story. Simple quick read for adults. Great novels for middle school!

my opinion on among the hidden

The reader was magnificent and the way he read the book and voiced the characters was also magnificent. The story it self was great the characters come across a few obstacles but in the end they did good. but the one part I didn't like was jean dyeing but I ges you need that death for the story to continue. But hey "I'm not the writer I'm the reader" and that is why I give this book 5 stars.

The idea of the stores stood out most to me

I like how I had the hint of realism while not making it too serious while having a bunch of adventures and suspense

Perfect Aside from Errant Ringing

This book was one of my childhood favorites. As an adult, the book hit just as hard and I found myself entirely enveloped in the suspense and drama of the book despite already knowing everything that happens. Steven did a wonderful job, and Margaret wrote a classic.

Two things are bad about this audiobook, both minor technical issues:

1) The audible chapter encoding is off, so despite the book having ~30 chapters the audible breaks them up haphazardly into 8 audible chapters making navigation by voice very difficult. Saying "restart chapter" can make you go back four chapters and take forever to find your place once more.

2) there is an incessant ringing in the background that might render the audiobook unlistenable for any audiophiles out there. I tuned the pitch out but every once in a while I'd notice it.

I'm hoping the second book doesn't suffer the same pitfalls.

Definitely one of my favorite books of all time, so authentic and thorough. I 100% recommend it for anyone.

Libertarian Mind

Wonderful book. I read this in my childhood and revisiting it as an adult I've found it has libertarian ideals.
