Good background

Book provides a lot of examples but I think it’s missing something….the answers are great but everything seems very surface level. I would have appreciated a bit of deeper thinking/reasoning behind each answer.

Overall I enjoyed the content and its definitely worth a read/listen.

Great Examples

The book has examples that help to think of past experiences. When I hear interview questions I wonder if I even have an experience they are asking about. This book helped me realize that yes I do have what interviews are looking for!

great book to have. lots of great insight

I felt the book had lots of great insights tools and recommendations for interviewing when looking for a new job. I used several tips and wrote down lots of notes and reviewed my resume. hopefully it will help him pay off when looking for new job and interviewing. lots of do's and don'ts, I'll be reading other books as well to help me interview better. overall, I felt this book was great, short, easy to understand and uplifting. I would recommend this book.

Not amazing

This book might be helpful to a new high school or college grad, but anyone who’s held one or two jobs already would probably not benefit from such a basic book.

not helpful

This book is written by a hiring manager envisioning the perfect unrealistic job candidate. This book is helpful if you're the type of motivated go-getter who doesn't need a book like this but for the rest of us average folks it's falls flat, is tone deaf and lacks empathy.
