Very good book

really loved the book, the information provided is certainly needed in a competitive job market.

It's ok but very broad

the audio version is an easy listen but it never got deep enough in explanation to further knowledge I already had.

Brilliant book!

Love it! Very useful... Easy to listen to. I heard it all while driving and finished it in couple of days. I was quite surprised to find out that there is such a thing as illegal interview questions. There is and now I know why certain interview questions did not feel. Brilliant, brilliant book!

This audiobook is monumental in preparing for interviews and the challenging questions and situations that often accompany an interview. I loved Robin Ryan’s outlook and advice on this key skill.

Amazing advices and recommendations

This audiobook contains very good tips and advices to make a better interview. It gives you knowledge and perspective from the different kinds of job interviews you might encounter

Good points, but very repetitive

Robin Ryan had two foundational points for this book - focus your replies to the questions asked, keeping them to 60 seconds each, and know your key 5 strengths, with specific examples applicable to the position you are going for. There is other advice such as know the salary range and research the company - which to me are common sense items. The trends referenced are now (in 2022) dated since most interviews now seem to be video conferencing and support remote workers. Overall a decent reminder of the basics for doing well in an interview - prepare, prepare, prepare - and practice. The information could have been covered in half the time or less. A lot of info is repeated, and repeated again.

The Q&A’s were very helpful as they allowed me moments of reflection on my past jobs, all they encompassed and all the projects I spearheaded successfully. The Q&A’s triggered and opened up that part of my memory. So very grateful.
