Great story

Low angst - high us-against-the-world. I can see this being someone’s comfort listen

Sad it’s over

Kepler has to be the sweetest romantic guy ever. I can’t believe he kept his love a secret for so long. Jae is so good for and to him. And these two are so smart. I love that about them. This was a true love story! I loved it and the narration!

I loved this! Low angst and a very easy listen. Can’t wait to see what else is in store for this series!

I really liked this one. Loved the MCs and all of the supporting characters. Kind of bummed theres no other books in this series out yet.

LOVED IT!!

I loved this book when I read it, and I loved it even more narrated by the amazing Liam DiCosimo. Jin is one of those characters who I fell in love with immediately, and I love how sweet Kepler is to him.
This is a brother’s best friend, bi-awakening romance with a bunch of complications. Besides Kepler’s friendship with Jin’s brother, Jin and his brother Shin are going through a difficult time regarding their mom, which is putting a major strain on their relationship. Add in Kepler being the teacher’s aide for Jin’s physics class, and Kepler’s interesting relationship with Shin, there’s a lot against these two.
But Kepler has known his feelings for Jin for a long time, and once that box is open for Jin, he can’t put the lid back on.
This is a beautiful romance with two men who will support each other through it all and make it work…always

Such a good story 🤍

I loved this story so much. It’s been sitting on my shelf waiting to be read, decided to listen and am so glad so finally did 🤍🤍🤍

Even better in audio!

When I say I love this book it isn't an exaggeration. I'm not usually a fan of single POVs in my books. I like to know what all characters are thinking all of the time. The author did such an amazing job showing who Kepler is that I didn't even realize I wasn't in his head until I was halfway through the book. I had actual butterflies a few times too. The post its, the pining, the balcony scene. Everything about this book worked for me. I've read it three times and was so excited for the audio. But also a little apprehensive. A bad narrator can ruin an amazing story. Fear not, Liam was perfect. I'm notoriously picky about the narrators I listen to. So much so that there are only about 5 that I have no issues listening to. Liam is on that list. If he's narrating I'm listening.

I'm in love

Was getting sick of sports couples. What a great change. Characters that speak their minds. No "typical" misunderstanding to drive the story. The friends to lovers vs enemy to lovers is a great change of pace.

SO incredibly sweet & adorable! Love them so much!!!!

I went into this book blind just based on a recommendation that it had “it’s always been you vibes” and it lived up to every bit of that!! As I started reading I realized that it also had so many of my favorites including brother’s best friend, knowing each other since childhood AND forbidden vibes with a TA/student romance. I was completely hooked!!

Jin is going through a lot in this story and having to make a lot of choices about life while also taking care of his mom who struggles with addiction. Then there is also Kepler who he’s been pining over since he was a kid. This connection since childhood just elevated their emotional connection so much and made you feel the pull between them! It has all the pining, palpable chemistry, so much feeling, supporting characters with depth and an emotional story alongside it. I just fell so damn hard for Jin and Kepler and this book just easily going to be a comfort book for rereading!!

AUDIO REVIEW:
This audiobook is a single narration by Liam Dicosimo. I’ll be honest, I was too captured into the story that I didn’t even realize it was a single POV until close to the end. The story just makes you feel like you know Keepler with how Jin describes him and how he talks which was an amazing testament to the writing!! While it was such an enjoyable listen on audio, I will say that I did get confused as to which character was speaking a few times as I didn’t feel a real change in his voice to be able to differentiate the two characters and really had to focus on who was saying what. Despite that, it is still definitely worth the listen on audio as I could feel all the emotion and feeling of the story shine through!

Great story

Loren Leigh sure can write a great story. Hopefully, the entire series is this good. Liam DiCosimo did an outstanding job bringing this book and all of it's characters to life. Hopefully, we won't get a narrator change in the series. Get this book, it's really, really a good listen
