One of my favorites!

This is a wonderful start to the series, yet no cliffhanger. I love the story of Victor and Riggs. Very heartwarming and you can just imagine Gus and fall for him instantly! Touching and well-read as well. Loved this!

Love this book!

I loved Vincent and Riggs together, this griffin and bear shifter were an opposites attract romance. The two had to navigate not only a new relationship but also a bear cub baby who stole their hearts from the beginning. I highly recommend this book and if you want the full reading experience in this fun world, you should probably look into Macy Blake's, The Chosen and The Hellhound series.

Beautiful

I was pleasantly surprised the series takes place in the same world as her “chosen” series. I admit I didn’t read the blurb before buying this book as Macy tends to be an automatic buy for me, and for some reason I had thought was going to be in a whole new world. But I was absolutely thrilled with the book and the way the series is headed. I look forward to listening to more!

A VERY MODERN PACK AND FAMILY STORY

Bird , Bear .... these two words become very endearing during this supernatural shifter story.

Once you have entered this other world full of magic, shifters, hellhounds, faries, vampires and Griffin's , you will be just as enthralled as I was .... if you genuinely enjoy a good LGBT+ story about supernatural beings , you will love this story and look forward to the next book in the series ... just like I am.

Loved every second of this adorableness, which means Gus of course. Michael Dean did such a great job bringing these lovable characters to life.

Bird and bear

What a fun sweet listen, this is part of a large series, which I highly recommend, but can be read as a stand along. Victor aka bird is the financial guy and a bit uptight, Riggs aka bear is the site Forman and he’s the opposite. Oh yeah and a darling red panda named Gus.

Very Cute Shifter Story

This was my first Macy Blake story and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I felt like I missed a few details of the world building because I haven't read the other stories that this spun off from but not details that affected the plot line in this story so much that it took away from it. I was able to pick up enough from the dialogue to keep up with what was going on. The alpha and his explosive temper is something that made me chuckle because us Mother "Bears" can be that way and he has essentially become that to these small shifters, or should I say Mother Lion. I loved the relationship between Riggs and Victor but I could have strangled Victor there for a little bit. I also loved how completely clueless Victor was about kids but at the same time how quick he was to figure out what he needed to know despite claiming he wasn't a father. I knew I would enjoy the narration because Michael Dean is a favorite of mine and all the voices were very well done in this story. I'm looking forward to more stories in this world and from this author.

Wow

I was so excited when I found out that Macy Blake was releasing her first audiobook. I was blown away! This book is part of a much larger world, but it is first in this series. This series focuses on the Smith pack finding homes for a large group of orphaned shifter kids. You can enjoy this one without the others but I do recommend you go look them up for background info. The Chosen One series will explain how the kids were found, among other things.. This was so amazing! Magic, shifters, and absolutely adorable kids abound! I loved the way Michael Dean voiced the kids, especially little Gus. He is an amazing narrator and really did this story justice.
