Fun Story, Nice Performance by M. Dean

I had no idea what to expect, but I really enjoyed this story. Macy Blake has created an interesting shifter world :).

I love the books and am so glad to now have it on audio. can't wait for the rest of the series

Heart warming

I really loved how Sam and Vaughn bonded with each other and the children they found I enjoyed learning about each child and seeing them be cared for properly for the first time there were some scary moments but they all made it through I found Vaughns job interesting and sams job perfect for their new responsibilities raising the children it was and interesting prequel to the series

Ooo, this is the start of something good

I loved this series when I read it. The world building is great as are all the characters. Listening to the story brings a whole new level of goodness, the emotion and love really come thru. I enjoyed it and know I’ll listen again again. I can’t wait for the rest of the series.

Excited for this series!

I am so excited for this series - it starts with a bang and keeps on going Sam and Vaughn and their new family of kidnapped children made my heart melt!
Sam and Vaughn had met years before, had a steamy encounter, then Vaughn ghosted him. Fast forward to present day, Sam and Vaughn meet up again under very unusual circumstances, and it's go,go go from there. I loved that once they were able to clear up up the past, they made the present and future their own pretty quickly. And the kids - especially Ollie, Ben, Henry - they were adorable. I can't wait for their grown-up stories.

Michael Dean was especially good with the narration. He had the great voices for all the characters, There was a slight tendency for the 'alpha' males to sound a little similar, but the story is so good that you know who is talking.
Highly recommend!

Loved it!

I have read all of Macy's books so I was so excited to be able to hear them on audiobook and be immersed in this wonderfully magical world that she created. This was everything I thought and hoped it would be!

Michael Dean brings these characters to life in such an amazing way and gave them life in way that just reading a book can't. He did a fantastic job and I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series!

This is a great series and this book is a wonderful beginning to it and it's definitely worth the listen! I highly recommend it!

So lovely

This is the beginning of the chosen one universe and it does a wonderful job getting it going.

Sam and Vaughn work well together even if Vaughn was not likeable in the beginning. The kids were adorable.

The narration was awesome and truly deserves five stars.

The saga begins

OMG! I just finished listening to Sweet Nothings and it was just wonderful! I had read The Chosen One books several years ago and loved them and the audio did not disappoint. The narrator's smooth voice captured the story so well. The story itself in audio form surrounded me and I could FEEL the words as the story unfolded. I love Macy Blake and this was just amazing. The introduction prequel to The Chosen One set the stage for what is to come. This is a definite must listen! I'm off to the next audio now to immerse myself in another world and I can't wait!

Loved it!

This was the first book I have read from Macy and I absolutely fell in love with it. Sam is so fierce and accepts the paranormal world directly.

I adore all the kids but Ollie has a special place in my heart.
