I had to listen to this one straight through. Really enjoyed all the characters and intersecting storylines. A great listen!

You must let go of your past hurt to love

Great commentary by both speakers! The story is a great sweet romance! I'm glad I was introduced to this author!

Communication is key

This book is for grown ups. I love how the author captured how grief and abandonment impacts people differently. You will get your lies, secrets, and deception but it's not over the top messy. Definitely worth the credit!

The Heart Wants What It Wants

This is a brilliant portrayal of the dynamics of friendships, family relationships and the consequences of betrayal. I love the way the parents' relationships are used to highlight the complexity of Elle and Kanaan's relationships. The narrators did a pretty good job until they got to Paris and absolutely mangled the French language.

Great Book

This was good book. The narration was great and I loved the HEA. Can't wait to hear from this cast of characters in another book.

officially one of my top favs

absolutely love this book! I was hooked and finished it in one day. I love how the author didn't drag each climax out, it was one juicy turn after another. a true must listen!

A lot of twists and turns!

I loved this story from start to finish! The author did a great job bringing the characters to life!

Wrecked my nerves!

Part of the issue is- nobody communicated!!! It was infuriating! LOL! But I enjoyed this book! I loved how they loved each other! I think they went too easy on the mom and dad…. And that creepy professor- what an interesting situation that I definitely saw coming. The signs were there! All in all.. good read! 7.5 out of 10

Good book

I enjoyed the story. The forbidden love trope was handled well. Ella’s brothers were hella annoying. Overall a good read.

Was not the best storyline

Age-gap romance that did not hit the mark. The MFC seemed very child-like and the MMC sent Dad vibes. No romance or chemistry.
