🔸🔸Solid storyline🔸🔸

🔸When Civily leaves her abusive husband, she never thought she would end up on a ranch enjoying her peaceful life. The only issue is that she has a grouchy boss who firmly believes she has no business being there.

This was a solid storyline. I found myself enjoying the interaction between the main characters. However, there were moments where the pacing seemed a bit off, causing the plot to lose some momentum. That being said, I did find the slow burn to be a great incentive to continue listening.

🎧Also the dual narration was a great choice. Both narrators did an amazing job bringing these characters to life.

🔸Overall, if you enjoy small-town romances, this will definitely hit the spot.

This one was emotional for me because I related so much. But and amazing story can’t wait to for the next one!

Book & Audio Review

Ahhh so happy i picked this one up! Wells Ranch Book one packed a punch. So definitely wanna check your triggers before picking this one up! I loved Cecily and Austin, Aus may have been a brooding grumpy a-hole when we first met him but watching Cecily prove him wrong at every turn was so worth it. This book was also super HOTT, Aus was filthy and i loved listening to every second of it. There was a fair amount of trauma healing in this one and I enjoy a good love after divorce romance. Highly Recommend this one and the Audio Narrated by Angelina Rocca and Jack Calihan. Jack literally brought Aus’s gruff demeanor to life and it was sexy as hell!

Not for me

Please don't let my less than stellar review prevent you from listening to this story. It just wasn't for me.

The resolution to the villain problem was too abrupt while other situations were too slow, and sometimes unnecessary.

I also didn't get the chemistry between the two main characters. Then again, that's just my opinion. Other listeners seemed to have enjoyed the book very much.

Slow burn but so good!

Slow burn but so good!! Like the character depth in both main characters. Steamy, feel good romance with some angst.

This was fine

Was this story terrible? No. Was it great? No. Listen, this was good enough but there was just nothing original here and the ending was sort of anticlimactic.

I did not enjoy the narration. The male was fine when his voice didn’t go all nasally. But the female, her voice grated on me. It felt forced, like she was trying too hard to talk deep and Smokey. I just wanted her to talk normal. Her cadence felt off at times too. Both narrators kept throwing me out of the story.

I absolutely love this audiobook

This is my 3rd time reading Alive and Wells. I can’t get enough of this book!!

My favorite cowboy romance series!

I love Austin and Cecily so much. Austin is the definition of sweet, swoony and a bit spicy. If you love cowboy romance, small town, and a protective hero, you’ll love Alive and Wells!
