Emotionally..a roller coaster

What’s not to like about this?? I am a 75 year old woman who for some reason..is still working.. I am a cook ..not a chef..just a cook..This week,,, because my kitchen is open to the bar..the farmers, truckers and bikers have had the spectacle of watching me laugh like a loon and cry like a baby.. not having a clue about what was going on..God bless headphones..this was truly wonderful ..just wish it was longer..if you want to go on a journey..listen to this one..you can’t do better..thank you Mr. Daniels .. thank you

Wow!

Season 2 was an amazing addition to Season 1. Both are thoroughly entertaining. I hope there will be a Season 3!

Depths I never would have imagined

I listened to this audio book, not because I had liked and admired this comic, because I needed something short as background noise to listen to while I did some mind numbing repetitive chore. But I caught myself listening more and more to what Jeff Daniels had to say about his life…about his life as an actor, writer, musician . The background story became intriguing and his reflections and thoughts intuitive. I even caught myself singing along with him. He is so much more than the“ Dumb and Dumber” character. I am going back and watch his old films because if I had seen them at all it was due to the presence of someone else in the film. This time I will be watching his performance. Read or listen to this book and understand better what it’s like to choose the life in the lights.

Pure Entertainment

Thoroughly enjoyed this release as well as the last. I love his natural storytelling and common-sense approach to life, You'll not regret this listen.

Like spending time with a friend.

What a magnificent storyteller Jeff Daniels is! This audiobook (and the first one) was like listening to a long time friend share stories from his life in a most unpretentious way, though he’s in a profession that often inspires pretentious behavior. That’s not what you get here. You get a warm, honest, humble, caring and very funny guy who knows how to spin great tales from a lifetime of memories both public and private. As a bonus, you get to hear some of his fantastic original songs. What an inspiration! I could have listened for days. Highly recommended!

Heartfelt storytelling

I loved hearing how Jeff’s career progressed and his willingness to take risks and try new things.

Really enjoyed the stories and the candid descriptions of the experiences

Overall I like the lessons that were woven into each of the chapters. This was well written and a joy to listen to.
