This book is for anyone. Young or old, men or women. It gives you an understanding of what a men should and should do. DOs and DON'Ts.

Best Men's Study I've Done

This is perhaps the single best men's study I've ever done. Very challenging and encouraging.

I highly recommend. Best takeaway - Love = you before me. The Christian life is really all about love. Kinda simple.

Mr. MacDonald does an excellent job of giving us practical standards, warnings and solutions for men to align their life with truth. This is one of my classics to review. I will use this as a discipleship tool.

Beyond Practical Manly Biblical Counsel

James MacDonald is such a seasoned pastor and like a spiritual grandfather of the faith. Every chapter is the perfect length for a morning devotional. It is a call to arms for all men of faith to grow up and become the godly man God not only intends, but demands of them. The book takes one verse of scripture and unpacks for it a 40 day long tour de force with homework and lifelong application. To be honest, I put it down for a while after the third devotional to read a different book, yet wish I hadn't as I became trapped into some sin that I may have avoided had I finished this text first. It is a must for any man that is serious about growing in their faith.
