It was a great run!

I have been on this roller coaster, since the beginning. I guess the only reason why I didn’t give the story the full 5 stars was because of the ending. It didn’t have to be a happy one for James but dam couldn’t he have ended up somewhere else after all that. I guess I’ll have to wait another 2 years if there is a chance of another book.

Ace in the Hole

I loved every minute of this book. It’s so easy to hear this book like watching a good western on tv. This is the second book of course which it was easy to remember what went on in the first book whenever they reflected back to it in this book. The performance was so easy to see as the narrative read the story and performance and change of voices was flawless. Great entertainment.

Excellent Narration and Very Entertaining

Cowboys, Angels, Shape Shifters, and Ghouls... (and Vampires, Oh MY!).

It was REALLY FUN to listen to! I LOVED the entire series and I'm sad "Ace in the Hole" is the final story in the series. The authors are very creative and have vivid imaginations and although I'm not sure how I feel about the way it ended, it's a very entertaining story that's cleverly written and it has become one of my favorites. I was sort of hoping for a somewhat different ending; HOWEVER, the authors' talent and skills to transform their ideas into a story so interesting that you don't want to take a break from it combined with the narrator's delivery of the story is nothing short of EXCELLENT! A Western with SciFi and Supernatural elements makes it the most incredible Western story I've ever heard. Again, the narrator was very good at performing all the different voices and his COWBOY VOICE was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! I felt like I was in the 1700's or 1800's Wild, Wild, West.😁

If you like action-packed, comedic, entertainment and/or just want to listen to something different or new, I highly recommend listening to this audiobook and series EVEN IF the Western/SciFi/Supernatural genre isn't your favorite genre. I can't express how much I truly love the narration!! This story as well as the entire series will put a smile on your face. 😁

He killed James Crawley

It was a phenomenal collection I enjoyed Jame's story and how he only wanted to protect but he was always done dirty.

Favorite so far!

The story has only gotten a lot better. The performance is as good as ever. Idk if we’ll get another but I sure as heck want one.

worth the wait!

finally got to listen to the finally book in the black badge series and it was just as good as I hoped it would be.

Perfect ending!

While I hope this isn’t truly the end of the series, the ending was beautiful and marked by a twist I hadn’t seen coming. The authors have expertly crafted this series in a way we don’t often see these days. Bravo!

Wraps up this set

Story dragged on. I didn’t dislike it but it’s not the strongest book in the series.

Just ok...

I enjoyed 0.5 and the first two books, but this one missed the mark for me. The narrator was excellent as usual.

Don't sleep on this series--one of the best!

I devoured this series and waited impatiently for book 3. It has everything I love, supernatural MC that is morally gray and an absolute badass. A storyline that is both outrageous but set in reality and, a western to boot! I loved it, and the narration is PERFECT. Roger Clark elevates this series and makes it even more legendary. Don't miss out, trust me, you will love it!
