About this listen

Once upon a time, I was a girl who believed in love and happily ever afters.

Now, the only thing I believe in is revenge.

Unfortunately for me, there’s only one man willing to help me. Hook.

I should have known it wouldn’t be out of the goodness of his heart. He doesn’t have one. No, Hook wants his ring on my finger and me on my knees before him, and he won’t take no for an answer.

I’m willing to pay any price in order to bring our mutual enemy down...even if it means I lose my soul in the bargain.

Content warning: abusive ex-partner (emotional, physical).

Loved Tink and Hooks story

This is a great 3rd book to the series. Tink and Hook have a past that is complicated with some nasty people still lurking. Their union starts out of convenience but their true love prevails. LOVE Jack Calihans narration, Bridget did a great job too.

Tink is my favorite character. Add to it her hot pirate Hook and you have a sexy duo

Their shared story of horror and heart ache from the same devil makes them the perfect pair even though Tink thinks she hates Hook.

Best one

So far this is my favorite in the series. It gave a great comparison of a good dom vs a bad one (i.e., abusive). Hook is so in love with Tink and she just fights it the whole way through because of her past with Peter; it’s a cute love story.

I loved the plot but it’s a bit too spicy for me

I really enjoyed the storyline and everything with the mafia. It was awesome to see all the Disney characters but in a different setting. I would just maybe have a little more plot and less sex scenes.

A beautiful dance of romance and plot

Hook is a perfect man. Tink is…a bit much but maybe that’s because I relate to her in a few ways? This book is lovely and I love the couple. I’m not entirely sure if this is a predecessor or successor of Neon Gods, but I cannot help but think one influenced the other. This story specifically is exactly what made me fall in love with Katee Robert’s writing! A beautiful dance of trust, love, and pleasure with a story that has me glued to every page!!!

The Voice Actors

I wish there was a different narrator for Hook , since Jack already voiced Jafar in the previous book. Was confusing for me and I kept forgetting he was now Hook.

Interesting take on abusive relationships.

I guess I expected something a bit different. Overall it was an okay story. A take on if "Tink" and "Hook" had gotten together. There are a million things I could state good and bad about this book. Never been so annoyed by hearing Beautiful Girl uttered so many times.

Not what I picture

This story is good. But the voice overs need work. I love the series though
