Good story...

Good story overall. Narration bothered me a little at first but it got better the further I got into the book.

A Good Quick Listen

This story is well with and could easily be expanded to a longer book if the author wanted to. The narrator starts off feeling a little dry but soon warms a bit and does a good job.

This was an okay story

I was confused in the beginning as another listener was. The narration really bothered me. The storyteller was fine but the voice of Leah and others was lower and sounded like they were far away.
The story is entertaining, a good quick listen.

3.5 A Suitable Epitaph Stars

I was drawn to the words Canadian detective in the blurb and let me tell you I might have been a little confused at the beginning but the story soon grabbed my attention.

I liked the empathetic skills and how Leah uses them for her job, though I kind of thought her to be a bit of a power tripper especially toward her co-worker Mark. I get that she is Mark’s boss but she kind of demeans him a little. Just because she can sense his feelings and thoughts didn’t really give her the right to make him even more uncomfortable.

Axel totally gets Leah back though, hehe I like that he kind of put her on edge and that she didn’t have the upper hand.

The story I felt was just enough of a mystery to keep you involved though I think I would have liked just a little more backstory on Leah I might not have been so confused in the beginning.

The narration was pretty good my favorite voice was Axel all deep an rumbly that was fabulous. I wasn’t a fan of the Russian voice he did for the son of the victim but it wasn’t so bad that you would not want to listen and that is only for a small part of the book anyways.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*
