Love Beatrice and Kesgrave!

Although it was a little slow in spots the banter between characters was excellent and the narrator perfect for the series.

intriguing book with many twists and turns.

Enjoyed the time period and the different heroine and how the stories
y unfolded then.

She Continues to be Amazing!

The title for this review applies to Bea, now Duchess, but also to Lynn Messina and Jill Smith. The story was delightful and the narration perfect, both things are always so.
Highly recommend this series!

Another enjoyable murder from Lynn Messina

Jill Smith perfectly narrates this humorous escape from 2020. I’ve read all the books in this series with great pleasure. Keswick and Beatrice are well suited.

Mystery Meets Jane Austin - Highly Recommend!

I absolutely love this series! The combination of Bea and the Duke with their fun snarky banter, their intensifying romance, and a new murder to solve is simply a lot of fun. The romance is definitely hotter in this book as they are now honeymooners. If you love regency and mystery this author combines the two genres beautifully. I definitely recommend reading this series in order or you will miss far too much of the fun. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book!

To the parents, this series has been pretty clean (free of language, overly graphic violence and sex scenes), however, this book is really heated up in the passion side as Bea and Damien are now honeymooners... That being said there is heavy kissing, allusions to bedroom activities and making out but the author does stop before things get too far in and the scenes do skip ahead but there are multiple scenes. This one is really for the more mature, older teen to adult - PG13 for sure.

Twisty Mystery, Regency Love Match

I've consumed all six books in the Beatrice Hyde-Clare series in the span of 3 or 4 days.
In this volume, I had to take a break near the beginning when our Heroine was panicking in the butler pantry.
It took some self-reflection to realize the scene was uncomfortable because it was so similar to my own issues with anxiety and overthinking.
I don't know if this is the last book in the series; if there's another, I will definitely be purchasing it.

Perfect fun and witty escape

Such a fun series. Dialogue is so witty and sharp. I love it. Narrator top-notch.

Not my favorite story. Some parts are extremely long-winded and frustrating, but the narrator is excellent.

An appreciation for the exceedingly detailed method of detection has arrived.

The first few books were difficult to get past the details. This one was as detailed, but mesmerizing in its unfolding. I enjoyed this installment immensely.
