About this listen

From USA Today bestselling author Willow Winters comes a heart-wrenching, edge-of-your-seat gripping, romantic suspense.

I should feel shame for not wanting this to end, but he doesn’t want it to end either.

When the darkness sets in, the flames all flickered out, and the loud click of the locks signal it’s over, that’s when reality comes back.

The war. The drugs. All of the lies that leave a tangled web for me to get lost in.

I don’t want any of it.

I only want him. Jase Cross. My enemy. And yet, the only person I trust.

With broad shoulders and a smoldering look in his dark eyes, Jase is a man born to be powerful.

I shouldn’t give him more power than he already has.

Jase Cross will be my downfall.

😳Wow!!!

Amazing!!! Love the drama, cliffhangers are killing me and Bethany is starting to get on my nerves, for real!!! I understand her need to find her sisters killer but going off half cocked is really grating on my last nerve 😠. What does she think she can do by herself!?!? *sigh* oh well...on to the next book. This series is a winner!!😁

GAHH.. ANOTHER COMPELLING & COMPULSIVE LISTEN

Now that the third book in this gripping Irresistible Attraction trilogy is finally out, I once again listened to book 1 (well no hardship there) to recap on its thrilling beginnings and I happily binge-listened my way through the lot. And this second slice of the tense drama surrounding Bethany and Jace didn’t disappoint.. in fact Willow surpassed my already high expectations by giving me twisted puzzle pieces to mentally toss around and somehow fit into place as the dramatic and chilling middle book gives up its well-written words.

There was passion, sex, angst, thrilling and chilling drama, bloody torture scenes I didn’t want to picture, secrets, revelations and climactic action that had me absolutely gripped to each scene. The stellar dual POV narration by two of my favorites guaranteed this book was in good hands, that it would skilfully be brought to life, that I was gonna deliciously feel all the feels it contained and that it’d be another awesome 5 star winner.

Worth a credit? It was under $8 so I just bought it.. but seriously folks!! I’m getting REALLY fed up with split plots that end in frustrating cliffhangers, having to wait maybe months before the next instalment eventually becomes available, greedy grabby publishers who only think “ka-ching ka-ching” and having to use 2 or 3 credits to get ONE bloody story.

Mind Blowing Twist 🔥

The Cross Brothers most definitely have my heart but Jase holds the BIGGEST piece!! The story of Bethany and Jase started in A Single Glance and their story continues in A Single Kiss. Bethany is still most definitely struggling with her feelings towards Jase. Watching their love story unfold is beyond mesmerizing. But that ending left me like WTF?!?! Thank God I could immediately binge listen to their final book, A Single Touch!! Such a binge worthy series!!

I had to buy the entire series!

I bought both eBook and audiobook, but this review is for audio.
I love this series! I listened to all three books back-to-back, and fell in love with Beth and Jace. The Cross Brothers make you freaking swoon, with all their mafioso bada$$ness. (Carter's story is no exception. That series gives you *all* the feels, too!)
In this series, though, you have two broken souls who fight for dominance, and a burning desire for one another, that regardless of the "bad," one seeks the other's arms for comfort. It's a need so fierce, you can feel it within the storytelling--it's written perfectly, pulling on your heartstrings. The lengths Jace will go through to not only protect Bethany, but to help her family is beauty and pain. The thing is, no one person is all "good" or all bad. And although a person may do "bad" things, they don't make the person bad or evil.
They love just as fiercely.
They need love just as badly.
They fight the same demons.
All of this is beautifully poetic in an artist's heart. (Yeah, I could add a few more adverbs, but I digress.)
It's freaking outstanding, and it'll be one I listen to many times over.
I simply adored the narrators. Fantastic job! If I could give this series more than 5 stars, I would. Very well done!

Cliffhanger alert! Cliffhanger alert!

Good story. the book was good but did not like the cliffhanger ending and no book to follow! The narrator‘s were very good, excellent in fact. They were the reason I chose this book.

Damn that cliffhanger!!!

The story further develops between Jase and Beth... more involving... intense... kinda feel Jase is holding back... but why? He's the one who wants her badly. A bit confusing in that regard.

I wish they would stop talking about the $300K debt... it's nonsense.

I would have liked to see the story progress more.

The narration is awesome. Absolutely no complaints. Loved it.

It's definitely worth the listen... you will enjoy it.

Too long

All books could have been one. Too drawn out too many words saying the same thing
