Even better than book 1!
The author creates a very immerse environment through great details. I really enjoyed the curves in the story which helps care separation from other zombie books. I also think AJ is getting better. I still feel he occasionally makes disagreements between characters sound too heightened for what's going on and whiny, but much less so than previous narrations. Honestly, my only complaint was it needs to be longer. I ate through the audiobook in about a week of commuting :)

I normally don’t like zombie books, but this writer is something special. I have loved his writing since the first sentence of his first book, I really hope he keeps writing. It took me a bit to get used to the narrator, but he really does some of the voices well.

This second book was just as good if not better than the first. There was not one moment where I was not on the edge and trying to not yell out and my speaker with concern or excitement. Amazing listen and can't wait to get the hard copy.
