Feisty school teacher Tori Henderson values her independence and has no use for a husband. Narrator performance
The narrator who read this book for Audible did not engage my listening ear. She reminded me of someone who was reading a bedtime story to a child who was just reading the words. There was little change in her tone or inflection…just the words, Mam, nothing more. Took away my enjoyment of this C Hutton book, as I have always enjoyed several of Hutton’s other books on Audible.
