A great listening experience

I love fantasy and this has a lot of it. Adventurous and exciting. A little predictable here and there but easily overlooked.
I’m looking forward to the next book.
The narrator was a joy to listen to.

absolutely a wonderful story

This story was amazing I had no problem finishing the story in fact I couldn't stop listening to it I cannot wait until the next book comes out if this is her first book I can only imagine what the next ones are going to be like.

Great Narration

Incredible adventure

I loved seeing Liv’s growth in self esteem and knowing who she is and what she wants. The characters really come alive. Story and narration really kept me hooked. Very enjoyable!!

WOW!!! An epic journey!!!

This story is amazing!! I was pulled in and couldn’t stop till it was over. I can’t wait for the next one! This has become one of my top 10 favorites!!! Kim does an awesome job on the narration!! Her character adaptations are spot on!! You won’t regret going on this journey!!!

Superior Narration and a Creative Unique Story

So much good to say about Morgan Adam's first novel in addition to truly professional-quality Narration by Kim Churchill: The Alacatar world is expertly created and the character development exceptional. The central characters are very relatable and easy to connect to and care about. The pacing of the story is intense but in the best of ways, creating a wild ride for the audience. So much happens, but I was never lost, even with only the audiobook version.

I did feel that better editing was deserved and would have significantly elevated this incredible book which was such a fun and captivating journey into a unique fantasy world.

grate listen

this was a good listen the story really progresses well and moves from one moment to the next without being bogged down. the narrator doesn't do a great job with male character voices but that is to be expected from a female narrator. with that being said all the characters do not sound the same and you can tell the difference between the characters. my biggest issue with this book was the battles and fighting they didn't go into very much detail, and some battles were glossed over completely. this book seems to be more of a love story than an action fantasy.

It was okay, but looking forward to the next book!

I really liked the story in the sense that it tied in fantasy and sci-fi. It also has a very interesting general plot and I’m totally invested in almost all the characters, which is probably the most important. I want to know what happens next, which is why I’m going to read the next book, but the way that it was written just seems blah to me. There were plot holes and I often wondered why characters weren’t doing
things in the way I thought they they would. Made me feel like the characters were being stupid. Great concept and characters, but average execution. And I thought her being from Earth was going to make a cool difference in the story, but it didn’t really do anything (don’t want to give away any spoilers!).

The narration was good! Not totally blown away, but I was still satisfied.
