Storyline was good until the ending went south

Eva K. narrated it so well that I almost forgot to notice the unresolved issues in the storyline. The author forgot or ignored to resolve what happened in Europe and if the heroine found out the main reason of her blackout. Yeah, the probable cause was explained to her but she never acknowledged it or did something about it. Her blackout was the main storyline. Instead of fighting her own demons, she so focused on fighting something else. There was no closure. It was not a poetic ending. This is the very reason why ending is so terrible. I would skip the last chapter so you won’t be disappointed.

What a great book. I was on the edge of my seat, and didn’t know who was trustworthy 90% of the time. I highly recommend.

It had potential

Great writing and performance, it was filled with poetic thoughts and intrigue that kept you mostly entertained but the plot for me fell flat, there was also little action compared to inner dialogue, which I don't mind a heavy dose but there needs to be some balence to progress the story more. There was also a lot of build up that went no where intense enough for this to be a suspense book which it has to be with the lack of action and otherwise plot, I really felt like with some plot and action additions and a change to the end it could have been a truly amazing book, as is it just felt unfinished.

Could have been better

I did not like how the author had her interested in two men. It was the worst part of the book. I read through to end only because I wanted to know how it ended. There was just no real surprise. Her father dies like she said but it just didn’t feel like it should when it ended. I felt frustrated and angry . There was all this building up to nothing we didn’t already know.

I couldn't stop listening

So many plot twists. A HEA of a different kind and not they typical romance book...

Too many holes

Interesting outline, but there were too many gaps in details that are like Haley’s blackouts. I like this author so this leaves me disappointed.

Great

This was a great book. There wasn’t as much romance in this one as most of the other books I’ve read. It’s more suspenseful with a touch of romance but it was a really great story. Very well written and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Narration was amazing too!
