Gavin's Story Did Not Disappoint

This book was everything I hoped it would be a more. The love story paired with the banter between brothers and the love they all have for each other has me smiling from ear to ear. Beckett was as great as he always is. As always when it comes to this series, the casting for Gavin and Peaches was perfect. They brought the characters to life. This was definitely worth the credit/cost.

Absolutely a fantastic listen!

This book has it all. Spice, comedy, love, heartbreak. Family. I love brittannee’s writing. This is a 5star listen for me!

I love this book but I don't love Millie.

I love this book but I don't love Millie. Gavin is great but he does too much groveling for wrong doing and Millie does not do nearly enough. She is a brat who uses Gavin and complains about Lake and her dad not knowing that she would have wanted his company or to sing but she doesn't say anything to him and just expects him to know what she is thinking. Then she spends 2 years just not talking to him about it. I know she does do it by the end of the book but COME ON. She is just very immature in the first part of the book.

Such a good story!!!

This was such a good story! I think I am absolutely in love and obsessed with hockey daddy Gavin! Though age, gap trope is not one of my favorite, especially when there are such close ties between the relationship and family, I really really really like the story. And the spice was fantastically spicy.

Hockey Daddy For The Win!

Be still my ducking heart, A Major Puck Up was hands down one of the best romances I’ve listened to this year! It’s going in my hockey (romance) hall of fame list. I don’t know that I’ve been gobsmacked this much by a Brittanée Nicole book since the Whiskey Duet! Thank goodness A Major Puck Up didn’t end in a cliffy! Millie and Gavin were enchanting, they had explosive chemistry, and were just so dang cute together! The Langfield family group texts were hilarious. The hockey family energy was off-the-charts, and the spice was hot enough to melt the ice. The Langfield brothers trying to do pregnancy math made me snort-laugh. A Major Puck Up had wonderful family healing moments and fainting couch worthy romance. My heart is so full after listening to Gavin & Millie’s love story.

Jason Clarke and Avery Caris were the perfect choices to bring Gavin Langfield and Millie Hall to life. Their dynamic performances voiced each character uniquely and with endearing passion. I was swept up in every second of this story from start to finish. If you’re a hockey-loving listener who enjoys goofy family (both blood and chosen), age-gap romance, Lisa Frank, and lots of ducking fun, A Major Puck Up is a must-listen!

What a treat!

I was a little worried about this book as I didn’t really enjoy Brooks’ story, but this was an absolute treat! Gavin and Millie’s love story was so sweet and hot! I LOVED it! The narrators are top notch (you can never go wrong with Jason Clarke) and they made this book an absolute listening pleasure.

Another fave in the bag!!

I love Brittanee Nicole’s writing. This latest Langfield, Gavin, has one of the most in depth and long road to finding his HEA. Yes, there’s an age gap but Nicole weaves the age difference and romance with so many enough moments of truths that ground the story while still giving you awe-inspiring moments. I loved Beckett but Gavin has seriously dethroned his older brother.

Jason Clarke and Avery Caris did an amazing job giving Gavin and Millie life while also honoring the characters who have had their own books.

LOVED this audio!

First, I LOVED the audio for this book! It was narrated so well and I couldn't stop listening! But also I low key loved finally getting Gavin's story with Millie! Even though they had their struggles, I love how they reunited with one another and just how much love they show. The chemistry between them is everything and those spicy scenes are PERFECT!

Gosh I loved this story before the audio came out but the audio made it that much better. Jason Clarke was the perfect Gavin. This was my first audio with Avery and she played a great Millie. I adored these two throughout their story. And the added bonus epilogue 😮‍💨.
