Brilliant narration

Liz Pearce has mastered all the accents in this intriguing series. Loved the history, mystery, and intrigue.

Wonderful

Liz Pearce is a favorite narrator of mine and I love this series. I will definitely listen to the entire series again in the future!

Best of the 3 books but still lacks

I enjoyed most of the book. The story and l9ve affair were much more captivating than the previous 2. I loved both MCs, and the background story was intriguing. Around ch 23, there were some questionable moments I didn't believe anyone would be dumb enough to fall for, let aline the strong heroine. However, the storyline recovers for the most part.

The narrator must be given credit for admirably changing through so many accents in most of the dialog. English to French to Russian got a bit muddled at times, but truly, I think with only one person reading, she was quite talented.

Most Enjoyable

I enjoyed every moment. I loved the characters and the charming stories within each one. The narrator does an excellent job.

Amazing

I grew up reading Grace Livingston Hill, even though she was from a generation 40 years ahead of head me. My grandmother introduced her to me.
Roseanna M White is a Ms Hill for the current generation. Full of faith, Gods love, fun, mystery and true love between a man and woman.
I have loved every book I’ve read so far.
Liz Pearce is one of the best narrators I’ve heard. Her tonal inflections and abilities to give the characters different voices the same familiarity in every book is wonderful

Wonderful story, wonderful series!

In this book and the other two in the series the author has woven together deep characters,intrigue,romance,history and a wonderful story. The three stories together would make a great mini series! Enjoyed very much and the narration is excellent.

Give the reader an award!

The story and characters are wonderful but the reader keeping all the accents in order? Brilliant! it is Christian romance and I really enjoyed the series.

Another Level!

The culmination of the Ladies of the Manor did not disappoint! This series was my first introduction to Roseanna M. White, and I will certainly be looking for more from her. In a market saturated with the equivalent of 'Hallmark B movies', White has created blockbusters. The writing is so engaging I have stayed up way past my bedtime for about two weeks now listening to this series! The level of drama and intrigue is balanced with sweet romance. Well done, Roseanna M. White! Overall, Liz Pearce does a fine job. Her modulation and delivery are great! I just wasn't convinced of the Russian accent. Occasionally I was momentarily confused as to who was speaking. But I would definitely listen again (and will do) without hesitation. It did not diminish the storytelling.
