You Know the End from the Beginning

A very mundane telling of a murder, and what you know from the beginning is all you know at the end.

Boring

Tedious. Needs editing. TMI. It stoned on and on and on. Couldn’t finish listening to it

Soft narration

Although the narrator has a lovely voice, I felt that it was a poor choice for a true crime story

Very interesting look at a crime in an Amish community. Good read if you enjoy true crime or are interested in the Amish communities.

It was ok

It was a decent book, parts were drug out much longer than necessary, but it gives you a great understanding of the Amish Community. I would recommend if you are curios and love true crime.

In a very unusually closed community it is amazing how these authors are able to gather such intimate details.

Way more interesting than I expected

I learned more about the history and beliefs of the Amish. Sadly, nothing in the culture prevents sexual sadists and narcissistic psychopaths from walking among them, but like too many religions, there is plenty to protect pedophiles and domestic abusers from accountability. Well written and told, but the cut and dried story from news media left out a fair number of questions.

i enjoyed the overqll story. Maybe a bit too centered on sex but tells it like it is sometimes!
