About this listen

In her exciting debut A Good Excuse to Be Bad, rising star Miranda Parker offers a compelling tale of how quickly life can be turned on its head. To bail bond agent and single mom Evangeline “Angel” Crawford, life seems boring, and she’s beginning to get restless. But when a job goes terribly wrong at Club Night Candy, everything changes. Someone is murdered, and Angel’s twin stands accused. Now, Angel becomes her sister’s only chance for redemption. Fortunately, she’ll have some help—from the most unlikely of sources.

Watch Your House

Would you try another book from Miranda Parker and/or Jennifer Kidwell?

Yes from Miranda Parker, the narrator voice didn't change much from one character to the next and I was confused at times.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Pastor Justus, his character was very supportive of Angel and he gave the story balance, as did the tension between Justus and Angel

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Jennifer Kidwell?

Corey Allen

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Absolutely
