Being enough

This book really hit home for me… from choosing the wrong men, looking for acceptance and having a demanding mother. And I also loved how Nasir and Sevyn were tied in 💚

Ne’a

I relate to this poor girl so much, love this story. I’m so happy it ended well.

Loved the story

I enjoyed the plot and storyline, male narrator is great, the female narrator spoke a little too slow for me which is the reason for the 4 star instead of 5 on the performance. I would love to get other books with the back story of the other characters.

Exceptional Listen/Read

Ne-a and Zane were meant/made for one another. Ne-a grew up due to lack of a father figure and Zane was broken due to a cheating wife, loss of a child, and divorce. This listen kept me interested, from beginning to end.

I'd recommend to anyone !!!

Truth and Relatable

This story spoke volumes for me! So much of her N’ae’s insecurities and demeanor were so relatable. Wishing and wanting love from a partner when you’ve never experienced it from those who were supposed to show you love first is a common theme. I appreciate the realness of this book. Winston James will always be a favorite of mine!

Hug your children

I disliked none of the story. I loved the story line, the performance and the realness of the characters. I recommend this audio for adults

HMMMM---Updated

I'm still listening so my review will change later but the Ne'a annoying as hell with how slow she is with men, and because I can't relate, I think she slow. I gave 5 stars because drawing in emotion outta me makes me like the book more lol. I will return when I'm done.

I finished the book and I should have used better words, Ne'a was failed from birth and her insecurities annoyed me because it could never be me because I will always choose myself. I was yelling at the book cause girl I went better for you lol. She found a good one with Zane cause she used her body with him just like she did the rest that used her so she didn't even get him off learned behavior she got him because he is a good guy. I like the story but Ne'a had no real growth. Zane was perfect tho and I'm happy he found her but at times it seemed like he was with her because he felt bad for her. That ex wife was bold as hell and I'm mad Ne'a didn't put hands and feet on her.

I loved the storyline. I'm a big fan of the author and always ready for her. I would definitely recommend

Roller coaster love story😘

This story felt like a roller coaster and I loved every minute. I also love the relatability, in many ways, I saw myself in Ne’a. Hearing her insecurity, dealing with depression, not knowing your self-worth and still find that special someone! I absolutely love this story.
