Straight to the Point

This novel was short and sweet and did exactly what needed to be done. It wasn’t over the top with unnecessary fluff and the characters were believable and relatable. Throughly enjoyed this read. Winston James can do no wrong!

Great Story

It took me a moment to get used to the woman narrator, but once I did, the book was great! Winston James is always a treat to listen to. :) So glad that Tara got what she deserved and that Lorenzo and Nalani got their happily ever after—with the adorable London! I enjoyed the side characters too. Would listen again sometime down the line!

Big Mama

Who would have thought your daughter’s kindergarten teacher would show you what it means to be loved whole. This was a cute palette cleanser even with the baby mama drama. I enjoyed this. London was so sweet and it sucked her mother treated her the way she did and tried to get her to do something bad. The judge did his big one. But most of all watching Lorenzo and Nolani weather everything and love each other the way they did was beautiful.

Could not put it down

Ms. B Love girl you did your big this with this story. I can’t count how many times I had to pause the story and talk myself off the ledge from beating Tara ass reminding myself that she is just a fictional character. And Clift hanger almost took me out. Will re-read again and again.

Perfect!

Light hearted with a little heavy, all in one. This book has REALISTIC characters, truly multidimensional and normal people. The story was steady and enjoyable. I wish there were more audibles by this author!

Love this Story

Sometimes, stories like this make you question whether you’d ever want to marry someone with kids. But it also proves that with love, patience, and kindness, you can truly shape a person’s life and show them what they’ve been missing all along. I loved the story the narration did it justice, and I’m so glad they got their happy ending and that justice was served.

I loved the beautifully written story of finding love again. I loved the family dynamics and really loved Nalani's father he was funny. this book had the right amount of everything. That ex... whew chile!! i don't even have to talk about narration it's 2 heavy hitters and they bring the story to life. go ahead and listen you will not be disappointed 🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️

The performances and story is great!

I would have loved more of the other characters, especially Tara, however written well and would love it to continue as a series.
