A Gift of Death is on tour. The three band members, Sarin, Vee-Exx, and Arsenic, travel the country playing their dark brand of music for screaming fans. Their violent lyrics and goth style draw people to them. But something else is drawing people to the mysterious trio...something sinister. They feed off the energy of the crowd, but desire something more: blood.
Cameron Snyder is an outcast. His love of death metal and extreme horror and his home life have left him on the fringes of high school society. When a prank goes too far, Cameron decides he's had enough. A relic of his dead father calls to him: a Colt 1911 handgun. He knows his life is not worth living, but can there be salvation? He then discovers a secret involving one of his favorite bands. A secret that could lead to immortality...or death.
Nestor and Cyril Visser run a private investigation business. A man shows up one day with a strange request, a deep knowledge of their past, and unlimited money. His request: Find his son's killers and execute them. There's a catch, though: He thinks the killers are vampires.

Narrator
I loved the narrator for this story. He really captured the characters attitudes and emotion throughout the story. I will be reading more of Jeremy Frazier due to his performance!

Volpe never disappoints
In this story of murder, metal, lust, and desire, Volpe managed to write a story from multiple points of view that is not only entertaining, but easy to follow. Not many people can pull off what he can, and I’m never disappointed.
The narrator did an awesome job as well, making it easy to recognize specific characters throughout.

A splatter-filled romp
Daniel Volpe has made a name for himself within the realm of extreme/spatterpunk horror. This book, might possibly be his best work.
Volpe’s vampire tale is not for the faint of heart, but is recommended to everyone that is looking for a book that holds a ferocious bite. High, high recommend!

Just nasty splatter…….
Not a horror novel here, just XXX splatter. What has happened that this crapola is sold as horror? Is it short attention span? Is it the surfeit of similar movies & vids? Or - is it just a quick buck?
