Action got better

I really enjoyed the story line. Interesting how characters are not changing but accepting new realities.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes! The series is well written with believable characters (if vampires were real that is) and all of the stories have strong plus with plenty of drama to keep the reader engaged.

This Elemental series was actually the first Audible books I've listened to. I'm definitely hooked. i enjoyed not only the author, but especially the narrator. i will be looking for more Audibles' from both. Thank you for the adventure!

A different world

Hunter has created a world that makes total sense. It is inhabited by humans and vampires. What is unusual is the degree to which these very different people interact. Not all humans are aware of vampires and most would be uncomfortable if they knew. But these characters interact as communities so to speak.Sometimes the interactions are with humans who haven't a clue particularly since the encounters happen only at night. That is the least. Most importantly is that this series is character driven and the plot and sub plots are first rate. Among the vampires, some are evil and some not. Even the evil ones have a credible backstory as a rationale for ruthless behavior. Greed figures predominantly on the other side of morality and scholarship. Should one man be allowed to gain the secrets hidden in an ancient book, secrets that may cure vampires of "Sun allergy"? Reminds me of drug companies with a patent on a curative medication and selling it for the highest cost. Surely I could go on but I have read all in this series and I run the risk of mixing in incidents from the other books. I urge you to tap into this treasure and meet the sexy smart arrogant Gio, the manipulative Ben, the pious priest who behaves with innocent abandon. These people have become friends of mine. I wish there was more books in this series

I absolutely love this series! I will miss all of the wonderful characters and their adventures.
I plan on reading more of Elizabeth Hunter's books. She is an awesome author!
