Last but not least!!

This, for now, last book in this series, for sure stands out with the amount of descriptive romantic scenes that the author is well known for! But just as in the previous it is all within the confines of the story and never inappropriate. The difference is that compared to the previous books that there is a lot of between Cassian and Nesta as their relationship grows from “just sex” to something far more precious. If you are in the prudish side you won’t like this book. If you have read all the previous books, and won’t shy away from detailed, but tasteful, description of their love making, you should be good. Of course there is the back story of each character we know by now plus some new people that add so much to the story. Loved this book. Loved the whole series. There is talk of a 6th book. If that is true, where do I sign up for the pre-release count!! On to Crescent City and a Throne of Glass!!!

Hot take but this is the best one in the series!

The story changing to Nesta at first to me, I thought we were going to miss out. Boy was I WRONG! This book is everything it could be and more. The character arcs, the storyline, the background stories. All of it! I’m so sad I’m done with the series and I cannot wait for the next installment.

Needless to say that Nesta’s character development was my favorite throughout the series!! I will definitely be listening to the series once again very soon !!!

Elizabeth Evans is so good. She gives different voices and accents and she knows how to give a good performative reading.

Life changing 🤍

I could not finish listening to the original narrator of this book… She killed the story for me and by chapter 20 I stopped listening. Elizabeth Evans is amazing and I love that she brought to life this book that I love so much. Thank you to whoever was in charge of the decision to re-record the series, because book 5 was so disrespected by the original narrator. This is my favorite book of the series, so much to learn and understand from listening.

Love this story. I cry every time I listen. I can relate to and feel for Nesta and Elizabeth Evans does not disappoint!

re purchased the book in a heartbeat as soon as I heard Elizabeth Evan’s was narrating ACOTAR, no shade to the previous narrator but gods Elizabeth your voice is just so captivating you put so much emotion and energy to each and every word and you paint the picture immaculately.
this was my favorite book of the series and I loved hearing my queen narrate it.

It was nice to follow Nesta’s journey.

Great book, too many sex scenes for me, I could have done without all the descriptions of their intimate acts, I like the story for the characters and their journey’s but at times this felt like I was listening to erotica, which I just wasn’t interested in. I like to listen while cooking and doing things with the kids around and I had to put it away several times because it was just too graphic. But overall wonderful story, well written and I loved the ending.

So thankful for a new narrator!!!

I finally finished the book now that the narrator is different than the original recording. So much better!
