Very interesting and heartfelt.

I love the book and the story. The narrator was not quite as enthusiastic as I thought should be. Unfortunately, he continued to pronounce the words, "couldn't" " didn't" and so on..incorrectly every time. I don't hold that against him, but it just every time I heard it, I wondered why someone didn't correct him and help him correct the pronunciation better and correctly. The book was worth the money, and I am glad to have it in my collection.

Blunt way it was written not sugar coated. It flowed well back and forth from past to present!

Professor Shaul Harel’s Resilience

The most honest and humble memoir, chocked full of historical truths. He is a survivor, and hero not only in Israel but the world; particularly in the field of pediatric neurology but most notably as a child Holocaust survivor and devoted husband/family man!

Beating Unbelievable Odds

I so appreciated this story and how Dr. Harel was gifted to become a doctor. His perseverance and devotion to children with neurological disorders led to understanding other developmental and brain issues that can be related to trauma. I do appreciate his work and that he has shared it with us.

Not my subject

Good book if you like statics. Not my genre I like reading about the refugees but don’t need statically facts. Boring.

Positive attitude about a bad experience

I love happy endings. This Jewish survivor was hidden from the Germans and lives to tell his story. Not only lived but became a blessing to others as a Neurosurgeon for children.

It was not about the Holocaust.

It was just not what I expected and I found it very difficult to follow. I spent most of the book trying to figure out the time line.

I did not enjoy the storyline and did not finish it! I bought it by mistake!

Shallow

I felt the story had a strong beginning but then turned out to be a long drawn out story of his accolades.
